California cities

Marketing for your part of California

We serve businesses across the state. A city gets its own page only when we have local facts and proof to put on it.

  • Bay Area

    San Francisco

A dense, competitive market where patients and customers compare many options. We have a Bay Area website project to show.

An honest note on “local”. We are based in Tracy, California. We don’t list addresses or local staff we don’t have. Your local results come from your own profile, listings, reviews, website and tracking.

What is different here

Four California rules that shape healthcare marketing

Privacy and platform rules decide how you can track, target and follow up. We plan around them from the start.

Ask for a tracking plan
  • Health information and privacy

California’s Confidentiality of Medical Information Act covers medical information held by providers, and the CCPA covers personal data, including sensitive data, collected on your website.

For your marketing: Decide what your forms, tags and ad audiences send before you launch.

  • Tracking on health pages is being enforced

In July 2025 the California Attorney General announced a CCPA settlement with Healthline Media over health-related browsing data shared for advertising and opt-out tools that allegedly did not work.

For your marketing: Test your consent and opt-out tools, and review what each ad and analytics tag receives.

  • AI in patient messages

Since January 2025, AB 3030 requires disclaimers on certain generative-AI patient communications from health facilities, clinics and physician offices, with an exception when a licensed provider reviews the message.

For your marketing: Chatbots and AI-written patient messages need a review step and a clear notice.

  • Ad platform health rules

Google limits health-related advertising and personalized ads or remarketing based on health conditions. Meta has its own limits on health targeting.

For your marketing: We check the current Google Ads and Meta policies before each launch and never work around them.

FAQ

California questions

Something else? Ask us directly and we'll answer it in our reply.

Do you have an office in California?

Our office is in Tracy, California. We work with clients across the state mostly by video, shared dashboards and written reports, and we don’t list offices, addresses or local staff we don’t have.

Do you only work with businesses near San Francisco?

No. We take clients anywhere in California. San Francisco has its own page because we have a project in the Bay Area to show. We add a city page only when we have local facts and proof to put on it.

Do I need a separate page for each California city I serve?

Usually not. A strong page for each service, plus one page per real location with its own team, hours and reviews, serves most businesses better than many near-identical city pages. We’ll tell you which cities deserve a page.

Can you advertise a medical practice in California?

Yes, within the platforms’ rules. Google and Meta both limit health advertising and audience targeting, and the rules change, so we check the current policies before each launch. We never advise working around them.

How do you handle patient privacy in tracking and ads?

We set up call, form and booking tracking to send as little personal data as possible, and we test consent and opt-out tools before launch. We flag the decisions your compliance lead or attorney should make. We don’t give legal advice.

Can you promise page-one rankings in California?

No agency honestly can. Results depend on your market, competition, Google Business Profile, reviews, website and budget. After reviewing your site and market we’ll tell you what we think is realistic and how we’d measure it.

What do I get when I ask for a proposal?

Add your website in the bar at the top of this page, or use the form below. We review your site, your market and your tracking before we talk, then send a plan with the first steps, the scope and the cost.
