Find the leak

Where is your ad budget leaking?

Pick the problem that sounds most like your account. You'll see what usually causes it, what we change, and where to start.

You get clicks, but few calls or form fills

What's usually behind it

  • Ads show for searches that have nothing to do with what you sell
  • The landing page doesn't match the ad, or loads slowly on phones
  • Calls and forms aren't tracked, so some leads are never counted

What we change

  • Search-term reviews every week, with new negative keywords
  • Ads and landing pages that match each search theme
  • Call, form and booking tracking tested end to end

You get leads, but too many aren't a fit

What's usually behind it

  • Broad matching reaches researchers, students and job seekers
  • Bidding counts every form fill as a win, good or bad
  • Forms don't ask enough to tell a good lead from a poor one

What we change

  • Exclusions for job, free, DIY and training searches
  • Qualified leads and new clients sent from your CRM back to the ad platforms
  • One or two qualifying questions added to your forms

Your cost per lead keeps going up

What's usually behind it

  • More competitors bidding on the same searches
  • Budget spread thin across too many services and locations
  • Low ad relevance, which raises what you pay for each click

What we change

  • Budget moved to the services and areas with the best cost per qualified lead
  • Tighter ad groups, with ads written for each search theme
  • Microsoft Advertising tested as an extra source of searches

You can't tell which ads bring in clients

What's usually behind it

  • Conversion actions are missing, duplicated or counting page views
  • Phone calls from ads aren't tracked at all
  • The ad platforms never learn which leads became clients

What we change

  • Conversion tracking rebuilt in GA4 and Google Tag Manager
  • Call tracking by campaign and by location
  • CRM outcomes imported, so reports run from click to client

Your healthcare ads are disapproved or limited

What's usually behind it

  • Keywords or ad text that trigger Google's healthcare and medicines policy
  • Remarketing or customer lists used for health services, which Google doesn't allow
  • Missing certification, for example for telehealth prescription services

What we change

  • Keywords, ads and landing pages reviewed against current policy
  • Audiences rebuilt around search intent, location and Google's own segments
  • Help preparing for certification where it's required

You're about to advertise for the first time

Common first-time mistakes

  • Launching before calls and forms are tracked
  • One campaign for every service and location
  • A budget too small to learn which searches convert

What we set up first

  • Tracking for calls, forms and bookings
  • Campaigns split by service, location and intent
  • A starting budget and a test plan with review dates

Lead quality

We optimize for clients, not form fills

A cheap lead that never becomes a client is wasted spend. We track every stage, agree with you what a qualified lead is, and send that signal back to the ad platforms so bidding learns from it.

  1. Stage 1

    Click

Someone searches or scrolls, then clicks your ad.

We trackSearch terms, cost per click, click-through rate

  2. Stage 2

    Lead

They call, fill in a form or book online.

We trackCost per lead by campaign and keyword

  3. Stage 3Optimized for

    Qualified lead

Your team confirms they're a good fit.

We trackQualified-lead rate, cost per qualified lead

  4. Stage 4Optimized for

    Booked

An appointment or sales call goes in the diary.

We trackBooking rate and time to first reply

  5. Stage 5Optimized for

    Client

They start treatment or sign a contract.

We trackCost per client, and revenue or ROAS where measurable

The feedback loop

Qualified leads and new clients from your CRM go back to the ad platforms, so automated bidding favors the searches and audiences that bring clients. For healthcare clients we send a lead status only, never clinical details.

  • Meta: Conversions API

What's working, what's wasting money, and what competitors bid on and say.

  • Tracking you can trust

Calls, forms and bookings tracked in GA4 and Google Tag Manager, and tested before launch.

  • Keyword research and campaign structure

Campaigns split by service, location and intent, so budgets and reports stay clear.

Search ads, assets, and image or video ads for social, written for each audience and policy.

  • Landing page recommendations

Fixes that lift your conversion rate, or a new page built by our web team.

  • Weekly search-term reviews

  • Bids, budgets and automation

Smart bidding aimed at qualified leads, with budget moved to what performs.

  • Monthly reporting

Cost per lead and per qualified lead by campaign, what we changed and what comes next.

Automation, with guardrails

Google's AI now runs more of your campaigns by default. We decide where it's allowed to.

Since 1 September 2026, Google has been converting Search campaigns that use automatically created assets or campaign-level broad match into AI Max for Search. Left on defaults, that can match ads to loosely related searches and send people to pages you didn't choose. We set the limits first.

Automation handles

  • Bidding toward the conversions you value most
  • Testing headline and description combinations
  • Finding new searches once tracking is clean

We keep control of

  • Brand, competitor and negative keyword lists
  • Which pages your ads can send people to
  • Ad text in regulated industries, approved before it runs
  • Budget split by service and location
  • When to scale and when to pause

Healthcare advertising

Healthcare ads follow stricter rules. We plan around them from day one.

Healthcare, dental, medical billing and telehealth are our focus markets. These four rules shape most of their campaigns, and this is how we handle each one.

  • Google Ads

No custom audiences for health services

    The rule
Google doesn't allow advertiser-built audiences, such as remarketing lists, customer lists and lookalikes, in ads that promote health content.
    What we do
We reach patients through search intent, location and Google's predefined audience segments, which are still allowed.
    Healthcare PPC & Google Ads
  • Meta

Less tracking data on Facebook and Instagram

    The rule
Meta limits the data and conversion events it accepts from many health and wellness advertisers, so campaigns can't always optimize for leads.
    What we do
We send generic, privacy-safe events through the Conversions API, judge lead quality in your CRM and write creative to Meta's health ad rules.
    Paid Social (Meta & LinkedIn)
  • Certification

Certification before telehealth ads can run

    The rule
Google requires certification, usually through LegitScript, for telemedicine providers and online pharmacies that advertise prescription services.
    What we do
We check eligibility before planning campaigns, help you prepare, and never suggest ways around the policy.
    Telehealth Advertising
  • Privacy

Patient details stay out of ad platforms

    The rule
Health details in page URLs, form fields or tracking events can reach ad platforms, which creates privacy and HIPAA risk for practices.
    What we do
We keep conditions and patient details out of everything sent to ad platforms. Lead status is the only signal we pass back.
    Analytics & Conversion Tracking
Selling to providers, not patients?

Medical billing and other B2B healthcare companies market to practice owners and managers. Those campaigns run on Google Search and LinkedIn, with lead qualification built for a longer sales cycle.

FAQ

Questions about PPC management

Something else? Ask us directly and we'll answer it in our reply.

How much does PPC management cost?

There are two parts. Your ad spend is paid directly to Google, Microsoft, Meta or LinkedIn, and our management fee covers strategy, builds, optimization and reporting. Some accounts also need a one-time setup for tracking or landing pages. We quote after reviewing your account and goals. Choose a budget range in the form so we can recommend options that fit.

How much should we spend on ads each month?

It depends on what clicks cost in your market, how many services and locations you advertise, and what a new client is worth to you. We work back from the cost per client you can afford, then recommend a starting budget large enough to show which searches convert within the first few weeks.

How quickly will we see results?

Search ads can bring clicks and enquiries within days of approval. The first weeks are for learning which searches and ads convert, and most accounts need a couple of months of tracked data before costs settle. Every report shows what changed and what it cost per lead.

Who owns the ad accounts and the data?

You do. Campaigns run in accounts registered to your business, and we work as users you can remove at any time. If we build a new account, it is set up in your name. If you leave, your campaigns, history and tracking stay with you.

Can you advertise healthcare, dental and telehealth services?

Yes, within each platform's rules. Google doesn't allow remarketing or customer-list audiences for health services, Meta limits health-related data, and telehealth providers that advertise prescription services need certification, usually through LegitScript. We plan campaigns around these rules and never suggest workarounds.

Should we start with Google Ads or social media ads?

For most service businesses, Google Search comes first because people are already looking for what you offer. Meta helps with local reach and with people who haven't started searching yet. LinkedIn suits B2B companies, such as medical billing firms that sell to practice owners and managers.

Can you track phone calls and which leads become clients?

Yes. We track calls, forms and online bookings, and connect your CRM so qualified leads and new clients are reported by campaign. Google Ads can learn from those outcomes through enhanced conversions for leads. For healthcare clients we send lead status only, never clinical details.

Can you take over our existing ad account?

Yes. We start with an audit and keep your account history, so automated bidding keeps what it has learned. We fix tracking first, then restructure only where it helps.
